Training
NEFLIN recognizes the importance of ongoing education for all information professionals in today's ever-changing world. To meet the needs of our members, NEFLIN offers continuing education in a variety of formats. For information about any of these services, contact Patty Morris, Continuing Education Coordinator.
Face-to-Face Training in a wide array of subjects.
Virtual Training is a complement to face-to-face training. Virtual training provides training on your desktop or can be viewed as a group in a classroom using a projector. View a listing of various Virtual Training Opportunities, including WebJunction Florida, which include LE@D courses.
Recorded webinars are available upon request for 30 days after the original class date, and may be requested by those who registered for and attended the live online class only.
The NEFLIN Lending Library is a collection of DVDs, books, videotapes, audiotapes, and CD-ROMs on a variety of library, management, and computer skills topics, from negotiating contracts for electronic resources to designing newsletters. Search the Lending Library and request an item.
Customized Training for members is available. NEFLIN staff can contract with trainers to provide training in individual libraries on specific topics. Libraries are responsible for all costs incurred. Contact NEFLIN for more information and to schedule customized training.
