NEFLIN's Virtual Classroom

NEFLIN uses GoToWebinar and GoToMeeting as our Virtual Classroom provider.

Registrants will be emailed access information prior to the webinar.

Accessing the Webinar
*Go to http://joingotomeeting.com and enter the Meeting ID 424-744-209. Please log in a few minutes early before the class start time.
*OR go to https://www1.gotomeeting.com/join/424744209
*You will need to download the software the first time you use the NEFLIN Virtual Classroom (GoToMeeting). This may take a few minutes.
*You can download the software ahead of time, but will not be able to enter the virtual classroom until 30 minutes prior to the class starting.

Audio - 2 options
To Use Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
*Required: Fast Internet connection (384 kbps or more recommended)
*Required: Headset (USB recommended) or microphone and speakers
*Once you have joined the webinar, Select "Use Mic and Speakers" under the Audio Pane. Click on Audio Setup to configure and test your audio

To Use Telephone
*Once you have joined the webinar, select "Use Telephone" under the Audio Pane. The Conference Call Number to dial is shown on the screen (it is NOT Toll Free).
*You will need the Access Code and Audio PIN shown on the screen

System Requirements
For PC-Based Presenters and Attendees
*Required: Windows 7, Vista, XP, 2003 Server or 2000 (Linux is not supported)
*Required: Internet Explorer 6.0 or newer, or Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or newer (JavaScript and Java enabled).
*Internet Connection Required: Cable modem, DSL or better recommended
*Recommended: Minimum of Pentium class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (2 GB of RAM for Windows Vista)

For Mac-Based Presenters and Attendees
*Required: Mac OS X 10.4.11 (Tiger), OS X 10.5 (Leopard), OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard)
*Required: Safari 3.0 or newer, or Firefox 3.0 or newer; (JavaScript and Java enabled)
*Internet Connection Required: Cable modem, DSL or better recommended
*Required: PowerPC G4/G5 or Intel processor, 512 MB of RAM or better recommended

Policies
*Regular NEFLIN Continuing Education policies apply, including no show and cancellation policies.
*If you have technical difficulties, you must contact NEFLIN (904-278-5620) at the start of the webinar to report it and see if we can help. Otherwise it will count as a no show.

Watch for announcements about upcoming online events and about how your library can use these virtual environments for meetings, training and programming.

To Reserve a Room Send an email to register@neflin.org and include the following information:
1. Contact name, library, phone and email address
2. Date and time of session
3. Topic of session, audience (public or staff), number of seats requested

You will receive a confirmation that includes a link to the room that you have been assigned, instructions for the session leader/moderator, and participant log-in instructions.
